Songwriting Workshop: The 6-Mo. Class

Like its name suggests, Bojangles Songwriting Workshop: The 6-Mo. Class takes place over six months at Bojangles Heights. Held on one designated Sunday a month in August through January, the course is less lecture-based and more workshop-centric: Participants will have assigned prompts and will bring original pieces to share with the class. 

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Sergio Trevino (Ancient Cat Society, Buxton) will lead the classes, offering insight into his own creative processes and feedback for all participants.

PREREQUISITES

In the past, 6-mo. Songwriting Workshop participants needed to attend an Intro to Songwriting class at Bojangles before registering. For the new 2026 session (Feb.-July), we are considering students who have not taken an Intro to Songwriting course on a case-by-case basis.
