The front man and primary songwriter for bands Ancient Cat Society and Buxton, Sergio echoes Paul Simon’s literary eloquence and the Everly Brothers’ sweet pining––but his voice is very much his own. Empathetic and sly, he’ll break your heart and make you laugh, sometimes in the same verse. Sergio has a rare gift for melody––and for breaking down how he constructs one.

As a teacher, Sergio is sincere, warm, and focused. He loves talking about the ins and outs of songwriting––and it shows.
